Sadie really enjoyed walking in the snow, I think it was the crunch under her feet that caught her attention. -Josh
We spent the morning in Estes today, and while walking around I noticed this on the sidewalk. I am just so grateful that somebody is intercepting the grease, who knows what would happen if it were allowed to flow uninhibited. -Josh
And over there in the tree, is a chipmunk nest. And that right there, is our corn, best in the city, it's delicious. And that is a crazy lady. So now you pretty much know what I do. Pretty dang exciting, huh?

Hair.
The past few weeks I have debated about cutting my hair. I was trying to grow my hair out but the longer it got the harder it was to take care of and my curly hair was getting pretty unruly. So today I chopped it off. I've always liked having a-line haircuts when I get them. I feel like it makes me look like I actually have a chin. Ha. It's so soft and short and easy. : ) I'm happy.

We are the Champions
Breakfast of Champions. Blueberry yogurt, fresh strawberries, and vanilla almond granola on top. Mmm Delicious!
Now that we are parents, and broke ones at that, our date nights consist of putting Sadie to bed , making delicious hot chocolate and watching netflix. And I'm not complaining one bit.

Emma Grace
This past week I was able to go up to Wyoming with my sister and meet my newest niece miss Emma Grace. She was so sweet and calm. It made me wonder "is this what normal newborns are like?" ha ha. It was fun to sit and visit with family and Sadie loved playing with her cousins. Brooklyn and Haley were showing Sadie their new karaoke machine and let Sadie give it a try. I thought it was hilarious what Sadie's version of "singing" sounded like. I'm putting a video of it up. I wanted to post a few pictures of little miss Emma for family to see so without further adieu...
Here's the video of Sadie "singing"

Sushi!
If you didn't already know, Josh and I are avid sushi lovers. We've tried sushi at several different restaurants and are convinced that no one can make sushi like our most beloved Suehiro's Japanese Restaurant. The problem we run into with our sushi loving is that sushi in not cheap. We usually only go eat sushi on special occasions e.g. birthdays and our anniversary. Josh has started working with lady who gave him some tips on making our own sushi. So what did we do today? Made our own sushi! It was so fun and it made our house smell like Suehiro's (best smell ever). Not to mention we didn't have to pay through the nose to eat as much as we wanted. We made a tempura shrimp roll and a salmon roll and both were delicious! View with envy....
See that shrimp? Yeah I fried/tempura'd that all by my self!

Pretty in Purple
The other day Josh and I decided to stop and look at the frozen Lake Loveland on our way home. Sadie was being cute and so we decided to take a few pictures. Anyone sick of Sadie pictures yet? lol Some of them are a little shadowy but we didn't intend for this trip to turn out in a photo shoot so we worked with what we had.

Christmas
This Christmas was so fun. We were lucky enough to spend time with Josh's side of the family and my side of the family. Although I'm sure Sadie still doesn't really have any concept of Christmas, it was still fun to get her little gifts and watch her open them. Every year I try my best to be sneaky and buy Josh Christmas presents that I think he wouldn't guess but, without fail he always guesses what I got him and well...I'm not very good at lying. I was completely spoiled this Christmas. I got gift cards to Target, Charming Charlie, and Joann's which are pretty much my favorite stores. I also got boots, a sweater, Photoshop elements 10, a jewelry making kit, BOTH Adele cd's, and lots of decadent chocolate candies. Ferrero Rocher anyone? The best gift of all though was just being able to spend time with family. On Christmas day Bob pulled us around on inner tubes around the neighborhood. Josh, Jentry, and I played cards with my parents and my Dad was getting a little loopy and it made us laugh so hard we cried. Even my Dad laughed so hard he cried! Sometimes he reminds me so much of his sisters, makes me miss the days when we all used to get together so often. I can't post about Christmas without saying how grateful I am for the one true gift of Christmas which is the gift of the Savior Jesus Christ. Where would I be without his unconditional love and forgiveness? Where would any of us be? I can only hope and try my best to someday be like him in every way. With that being said, how about some New Years resolutions to help me be more Christ-like?
1. I will try my best not to say negative things about anyone. If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all right?
2. Have more patience with Sadie. Sadie is an active, BUSY girl. Instead of being angry and annoyed by this fact I am going to try my best to embrace it and know that this is who she is and love her for it.
3. Not only tell Josh that I love him but try and do something everyday that shows him I love him.
4. Get to readin' my scriptures! Every night!
That's all the resolutions I have for now. At least Christ-like ones. I mean I could put loose 20 pounds but I don't think that is realistic or Christ-like.
Here are a few pictures from Christmas both with the LaMarr's and Cattoor's.
