Sadie has been laughing for awhile now but tonight we got an especially good video of her doing it. Enjoy!
And over there in the tree, is a chipmunk nest. And that right there, is our corn, best in the city, it's delicious. And that is a crazy lady. So now you pretty much know what I do. Pretty dang exciting, huh?

Memories : )
I was remembering all the crazy things I did with or to my little sister Jentry when we were kids and I was rolling with laughter so I thought I'd document it and see if this seems funny to anyone else or if I just have a quirky sense of humor.
I was probably in the 6th grade when I really wanted to start wearing makeup but my mom wouldn't allow me to. I started sneaking makeup out of my moms makeup bag and taking it with me to school. I would put the makeup on while riding the bus to school. (probably not the best idea now that I look back on it, that was a bumpy bus ride living on a dirt road n all, I'm sure I looked ridiculous lol) Anyways, one day while we were riding the bus I convinced Jentry who was 7 or 8 years old at the time that she needed some major eyebrow tweezing and some makeup lessons (this coming from a 12 year old that knew everything). Like I said before we had a pretty bumpy bus ride so half of the time that I was trying to tweeze Jentry's eyebrows I'd accidentally pinch her skin and make these awful red marks. I just kept apologizing and kept saying "that was the last time, I won't do it again!" I said that at least 10 times... After I had left at least a dozen red pinch marks in between my sisters eyebrows I decided I needed to fill in the rest of her remaining eyebrows with BLACK eyeliner. Where the crap did I learn this? How in the world did I think that it would look good? Needless to say Jentry got a confused look from the bus driver when she got off the bus. What cracks me up the most is I can't stop thinking about how her teachers must have reacted when they saw her. HAHAHAHA! Little 8yr old Jentry walking into class with her skin super red and scratched between her eyebrows and then 2 huge black Frankenstein block eyebrows. I am dying laughing right now as I'm typing just thinking of it again. This is a memory I will hopefully never forget. Who knows maybe when Sadie comes home from school all "dolled" up in some black eyeliner I'll have a little more compassion for her.

Napping
Josh and I have the early schedule at church 9am-12pm so I usually am lucky enough to get a nap in on Sundays. Sadie started getting sleepy around 2 so I thought "hey! I'll take a nap too!". (If only it could of been that easy) Sadie went down and then proceeded to wake up every three minutes because she either had hit herself in the face or she had lost her pacifier. Consequently every time she woke up I got more and more impatient and angry. Now looking back I can't believe how infuriated I got over something so silly. It was just so frustrating to be almost asleep and then to here her grunt or let out a little cry. I know your feeling really sorry for me right now. "Poor Kadi, she didn't get a nap" ha ha. Well don't worry too much because after about an hour of trying to get Sadie to sleep solidly I called Josh (yes called him on his cell phone because I was too lazy to get out of bed. I'm really looking like a diva in this post aren't I?) and being the wonderful husband he is, he came a took her for me : ) I don't mean to complain because I know that I am lucky to get naps and I'm sure the more kids we have the less that will happen. Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. -Kadi

Blogging!
Hello,
I'm going to try a blog for our little family, I'm pretty new to all this blogging stuff so I can't promise it'll be good but it is a nice way to let family and friends see fun stuff in our lives. Since we've become new parents to our little Sadie there will probably be a lot of her on here. I'll try not to be too repetitive but what can I say she is GORGEOUS! If anyone has any tips to help me with this whole blogging thing I'd love to hear them. Well here goes! Love you all.
-Kadi
